We’ve got special holiday hours this week:
- 11am – 8pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
- 11am – 7pm Saturday (Christmas Eve)
- Closed Christmas Day
Once again, ukuleles are the big holiday gift item. Here’s what you
need to know if you haven’t gotten yours yet:
-Makala colorful dolphin-bridge soprano ukes ($39.99): we have a few
reds and blues now, and are about 75% sure we’ll get more colors
before the weekend.
-We do have a great selection of other ukes from Kala, Cordoba, and
Flea Market Music, $99 and up. Also some cool solid-wood vintage ukes

-Some Firefly banjo-ukes just arrived ($179-$229).
For the rest of this week, every $50 you spend at HMT (and other
Takoma Park stores) will get you a raffle ticket to win a $900
shopping spree at local stores. Plus, don’t forget to sign up for our
Repeat Rewards program. Every dollar you spend at HMT equates to one
point – and when you hit 250 points you’ll be mailed a $25 gift
certificate for a future purchase.

The Takoma Park Open Mic won’t be meeting this Sunday (Christmas), but
we’ll be back on January 1st at Capital City Cheesecake, every Sunday
from 6-9pm. If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out! We usually
have between 16-20 diverse & talented acts with a featured artist set
in the middle. It’s a wonderful and supportive community, and CCC has
