Mr. Cox,

 

A Head Magnet family had a fire this past weekend.

 

The house is salvageable. However, the family is not living in the home.

 

I contacted the family to see if there is anything we can do for the family (assess their needs).

 

The father stated they needed cleaning supplies, tissue, toothpaste, deodorant, etc.

 

Is it possible for the PTSA to put together a care package and/or donate a Wal-Mart gift certificate to the family for their needs?

 

I copied Mrs. Walker on this e-mail since you will meet with her on Friday. I do not have Mrs. Ashurst’s e-mail handy.

 

Please let me know.

How many of you are in agreement for this family and how much of a gift card?  We are meeting in the morning and would like to present this gift card to Dr. Carr.  Please let us know today.

Mrs. Walker, are you able to  purchase the 12 gift cards from Books-A-Million for $10.00 each and give them to Dr. Carr in the morning?  Also to write check for Mr. Phillips for teacher of the year?
