We need to assign board members to these responsibilities. Mr. Berry and Mrs. Ashurst, can each of you take the lead with one of the responsibilities below? We need to get with these people and provide direction to them.
Mrs. Walker, I would like to meet with you asap, Dr. Carr informed me that close to 50 parents returned their forms and money for Fall Festival. We need to create a filing system for forms and separate them by home rooms. "I still have not received the ticket rubric".
Mrs. Miller, did we purchase new tickets for the F.F. and do you have the wristbands?

Hoping everyone is well on today.
Mrs. Ashurst, the more I thought about it, you have the experience of collecting forms and developing a program to gather forms, tshirts, tickets, and wrist bands to students class rooms. (we all will help distribute to class room). If you don't mind, can you work with Mrs. Walker on developing this procedure of how this will work. Again, Dr. Carr said that money and forms are already coming in and are located in Mrs. Taylor office.
I will work with the family who has volunteered for the booths. Mr. Berry if you could work with Ms.Tomie to purchase food items. You will need a check with you when you guys go shopping.

Hello Guys,
I just spoke with Rachel from 501st Legions (Star Wars), due to short notice and event being on the weekday, they are not able to meet our request. Rachel would like to support any future event that takes place on the weekend. Of course those that work with her, have jobs during the week.
I also spoke with Jim & Ginny (parents who volunteered for booth management), I will meet with them on Thursday.
Mr. Berry, will you contact Suzie Tomie asap to make contact with her.
Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Ashurst, can you guys discuss your plans to develop a system of collecting forms and money being turned in by parents? Also, a system to pkg and distribute items to home room teachers.

I plan on being there all day on Thursday, Nov. 8th and Friday, Nov. 9th. I will separate the forms according to grade/class and assemble the t-shirts with the tickets and get them all passed out on Thursday, Nov. 8th. If Ms. Walker could go ahead and collect the money, all I will need are the actual forms so I know the kid’s sizes and tickets, etc….

As money is separated from forms, we need something to keep those forms separated and filed until November 8th. We need to mark each form with type of payment, cash or checks and dollar amount.
Mrs. Walker, if you need help with this, please let me know. We want to deposit checks/cash asap. Do you need me to get this started, I know that you had plans to travel to NY. How are your relatives in NY?

I have spoken with the Star Wars people already, I sent info in another email stating they are not able to meet our request. They prefer to do events on the weekends due to everyone having to work Monday - Friday.

On another note, Jim and I ran into some of our Eakin PTSA friends who told us about a group that will come to events in StarWars costumes. The contact person is Rachel Enck. She told me that there is no charge for their appearances but since they are doing this in their spare time, weekday events are difficult to schedule.
