As you are aware that HMIS data has been put in place by MOHFW to monitor the National Health Mission and other National Health Programme and provide key input for Policy formulation and programme intervention implementation. HMIS data is extensively used in Programme Implementation Plan (PIPs) evaluation and release of funds. Further, the Conditionality is assessed on the basis of Grading of PHC, DH ranking and HR data based on HMIS data.
2. Further, this year it is proposed to publish statistical analysis of HMIS data FY 2018-19. Since all the reports/analysis are to be performed on 2018-19 data, so it is necessary to freeze the data.
3. It is expected that the HMIS data entry and data validation/verification for FY 2018-19 would have been completed by now.
4. Therefore, it has been planned to freeze the data on 24th June 2019 after which the same would not be available for modifications. It is therefore requested to direct the concerned officials to verify/rectify the issues (if any) in the data reported on HMIS portal for FY 2018-19 before 24th June 2019.
Thanks & regards,
