Subject: Regarding performance of Existing HMIS Portal

Respected Madam/Sir

In continuation to the earlier mail appended below, it is noted that since we are heading towards the end of financial year 2019-20, states/ districts are continuously involved in data entry as well as data modification throughout the month. This continuous modification process for the previous months, may be one of the reasons hampering the performance of system . As a suggestive precautionary step towards smooth functioning of HMIS portal, we have opened the data entry and updation for the month of February 2020 only.

        This restrictions have been imposed  to ensure optimal utilisation of the servers  for data entry and data modification for the month of February 2020(Current month) . You are also advised to use offline bulk upload feature, as it will reduce the effect of the online delayed execution time.we will remove these restrictions after 20th March 2020, after which the states can modify their previous months data.

We are in continuous receipt of  telephonic / email messages regarding slow speed of the HMIS portal from HMIs users across the country. We highly regret for the same. This is to inform that the National HMIS team at MoHFW is working hard to improve the performance of HMIS portal. The team has come up with certain suggestions to improve the performance of the portal. The implementing agency is checking the feasibility of implementing these solution. We would soon get back on the solution being implemented.
