As part of a new interdisciplinary ‘Convergence Environment’ at UiO:LifeScience, we are seeking applicants for four fully funded positions:

• PhD fellowship in statistical population ecology (application deadline 15 April)
• PhD fellowship in statistics (application deadline 1 March – NB!)
• Postdoc fellowship in spatial ecological modeling and interdisciplinary biodiversity science (deadline 8 April)
• Postdoc fellowship in applied philosophy (nature management and governance) (to be announced)

The convergence environment brings together researchers and students from the departments of Biosciences, Mathematics (Statistics), Philosophy, as well at the Natural History Museum at the University of Oslo, Norway. The overarching goal of the project is to develop and apply (statistical) models to support efficient nature management and governance.
