Dear all,

Got capture–mark–recapture data and wondering what to do with it?

Join our online Capture-Mark-Recapture Analyses in R course, taking place 6–8 October, and learn how to go from raw field data to robust estimates of survival, abundance and population dynamics.

Over 3 days, you’ll learn to:

  • Understand the key CMR models and their assumptions
  • Fit Cormack–Jolly–Seber, POPAN and multistate models in R using RMark
  • Assess model fit and compare alternative models
  • Interpret and visualise your results
  • Build a complete workflow from encounter histories to biological conclusions

The course is designed for researchers with basic R experience — no previous experience with MARK is required.

Best,

Carlo
