Good morning everyone,

There is still time to join our online course Time Series Analysis and Forecasting in R, taking place 20–24 Julyhttps://www.physalia-courses.org/courses-workshops/time-series-in-r/

Over five interactive online sessions (16:00–19:00, Berlin time), participants will learn how to analyse, model, and forecast ecological time series using modern Bayesian approaches in R.

During the course, participants will learn how to:

  • wrangle, visualize, and explore time series data in R,
  • build dynamic GLMs and GAMs using the {mvgam} and {brms} packages,
  • model nonlinear effects, temporal autocorrelation, and dynamic processes,
  • evaluate and compare forecasting models, and
  • generate accurate forecasts for univariate and multivariate ecological time series.

The course combines lectures with live coding and hands-on practical exercises. All course materials, including presentations, datasets, and fully commented R scripts, will be provided electronically.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,

Carlo
