Two PhD and postdoc positions

Dear all,

my colleague Joanie Van de Walle just asked whether it was possible for me to post two advertised positions in her lab. My answer was: yes, I am very happy to do this. However, I'd like to note that anybody can post such adverts directly, provided that topically they fall within the scope of one of these lists. Adverts that focus on the topics in which these lists specialize are very welcome.

Anyway, here are these job adverts; one is a PhD position and the other one a postdoc position. The positions are on demographic responses of marine mammals to environmental change. They use Bayesian IPMs to model population dynamics, quantify the mechanistic linkages between environmental factors and demographic rates, and project future population trajectories under scenarios of climate change and future exploitation levels.
