Hello all!

I got a comp CD from HM Magazine about 11 years ago at a Cornerstone
festival. One song that really stood out to me was "They", from a
band called Thresh. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find my CD,
and really unable to find any information whatsoever about this band
on the internet or elsewhere.

Does anyone here know anything about Thresh? I'd love to at least get
that song back, but I'd also really like to hear some of their other
music.

If anyone can help, that would be magnificent.
Thanks!
Jason

I've heard of a band called "Thresher". They just re-released their
album. You can see them here: http://www.myspace.com/godsthresher

Thanks, but it was definitely Thresh, not Thresher.  They sounded very unique, but on a cursory listen, I could understand someone saying "this band sounds kind of like Tool, only with more complex chords".  The singer had a real subdued, soft voice, but could get real powerful when the band got loud.  I really hope someone knows this band.  Does anyone have like old back issues of HM?

Thanks for the tip. I'm trying, but to no avail.

I found the CD! Its HM, Nov/Dec 1997, track 13. I'm happy to find it
and hear the song again, but I'd still like to find out more about
this band. Any help would be incredible.
