The archaeological site is open to the public as a tourist destination, and was added to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1998. Assos, located in the Ayvacık district of Çanakkale, dates back to B.C. It dates back to the 6th century. It is visited by many people every year. This is a very beautiful city with its houses built using andesite stone specific to the region, restaurants serving delicious seafood with the advantage of being a port city, lush green trees and deep blue water. | | | | | | |
