WLA Presents: The Pedagogy of Rape: Professors' Perspectives
Rape is examined in a number of law school courses. In this panel discussion on Monday, November 22nd, from 12-1PM in
Austin North, Professors Dershowitz, Halley, and Steiker will share how they approach teaching rape in their classrooms, and will
focus on how the topic presents pedagogical challenges that are different from those raised by other criminal law issues. Lunch

Special Presentation from Legal Aid Society, New York, NY
On Wednesday, Dec. 1, 2010, in Pound 202, from 12-1 pm, Marie Richardson from the NY Legal Aid Society will be giving a
special presentation to BLSA and WLA 3Ls who may be interested in available positions in the Criminal Division. Please come out
to hear about the upcoming application process and to ask any questions about employment at the Legal Aid Society. 2Ls
interested in future employment at the Legal Aid Society Criminal Division are also encouraged to come out and meet Ms.

Second Annual Harvard Mississippi Delta Celebration
Join faculty and students from all over the Harvard community on Wednesday, December 1, from 6:00-8:00pm in Hark South, to celebrate recent work in the Mississippi Delta! Over the past few years, students and faculty from HLS, Kennedy School, School of Public Health, Business School and Harvard College have all worked on a range of projects to improve the health, economic outcomes, community engagement, and overall wellness of communities in the Mississippi Delta. Please join us again this year to learn about new projects, meet members of the Harvard community interested in this region, and celebrate the wonderful work being done in the Delta. This event is open to anyone from the Harvard community! Hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks will be served.
Chayes Fellows Panel on Women's Issues in Developing Countries
On Thursday, December 2, from 12-1pm, in Hauser 102, come hear from a panel of HLS students who, as Chayes Fellows, worked on women's issues in developing countries.
Human Rights & Sex Trafficking: A Film Forum
From December 2-5th, the 'Human Rights & Sex Trafficking: A Film Forum', will take place in Cambridge. The event will be
screening 12 films at the Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square, each followed by discussion panels featuring survivors, filmmakers,
activists and academics. Recognizing the need for greater public and academic awareness of sex trafficking, the forum will explore
the power of documentary film in effectuating a movement to combat commercial sexual exploitation and modern-day slavery.

The Women's Law Association asks you to save the date for our Fifth Annual Conference – This is What Equality Looks Like: The
World We Want for Women and Girls. Our conference will take place on Friday, February 11, 2010 in Ropes-Gray. The
