Stay In Touch with the WLA This Summer!  Share Your Feedback! 


The WLA would like to stay in touch with returning students while they are working this summer and graduating students as they head out into the real world.  Please complete the appropriate 30 second survey below.  This information will be used to support WLA career advising and alumni networking efforts as well as improve the WLA for future years.

Mother's Day - Join 100 WLA Members Giving Back 


As Mother's Day approaches (May 8th), the WLA is encouraging you to honor your mom by giving the gift of a healthy, safe childbirth to women everywhere.  Donate in your mother's honor to the UNFPA here:  http://www.unfpa.org/support/. 


$20 buys clean birthing kits for 12 pregnant women in emergency situations; 


$65 is the average cost for a Cesarean section that can save the life of a mother and child. 


The WLA 's goal is for 100 Members to make improving maternal health their 2011 mother's day gift!  Pledge to be one of the 100 at:  http://bit.ly/ll38M5
