Hi there,

I'm a recent user of this fantastic software.

Regarding the timedot file, it seems the dot value is fixed to 0.25 (15m).

Is would be nice to set a custom time value for the dot: like in the tomato tecnique, the dot would be an atomic unit of measure set by user (eg. 25m)

or maybe does it already exist a way to accomplish this?

g.

Giuseppe, welcome. You can hack it by using a market price and value report to convert it:

# a.timedot
2024-05-08
a  .

# a.journal
include a.timedot
P 0001-01-01 "" 100m

$ hledger -f a.journal print -V
2024-05-08 *
    (a)             25m

(You can also write any number as a timedot amount, as you probably know.)

Yes, I've thought to use the value of the market price, but I would get only a minutes count and lost the time/money function :-)
A better approach maybe is set the number as amount at the end of a session.

Thank you Simon for your reply.
