Hi.  I have the latest hledger and hledger-web installed.  Both work very well for me.  I recently tried to share some of my balancesheet and incomestatement reports with a fellow investor and accountant who does my taxes on my small rental business.  First, I gave them a complete webpage of the hledger-web journal view, but that was complicated for them to access (first unzip the files, then open up the html file in your browser, etc --they had a hard time).  Then I tried copy and pasting the hledger output from my terminal into a word processor, but the resulting output in the word processor requires lots of editing to make something that looks nice and has the proper spacing and indentation, etc.  Perhaps others have some experience in making nice looking reports from hledger? Thanks.

Hi Tom,

Don't you just need to use a monospace font for hledger output in your
word processor ?

Or what about copying the hledger web page content ( or part of it )
from your web browser and pasting into your ( html-friendly ) email
client ?

Simon, yes, using a monospace font works perfectly.  Also, your suggestion about pasting the html content into a html-friendly email also works.  Thank you for both suggestions.

linuxcaffe, your suggestion is also welcome.  I didn't know how to do it in hledger, but I just tried exporting a report in c++ ledger and it gave me something to work with.  Thank you for the suggestion.
