Syndromic Surveillance Test Suite for ONC 2014 Edition Certification Testing to be Retired

The NIST Syndromic Surveillance Test Suite used for ONC 2014 Edition certification testing will be retired in the near future and then will be unavailable for use. A link to a downloadable war file for local installation will be provided via an announcement here once the tool has been retired.

This test tool covered the §170.314(f)(3) Transmission to public health agencies – syndromic surveillance criterion with the named standard PHIN Messaging Guide for Syndromic Surveillance, Release 1.1; Addendum to PHIN Messaging Guide for Syndromic Surveillance, Release 1.1; and Syndromic Surveillance Testing Clarification Document Release 1.2.

The NIST Syndromic Surveillance Test Suite used for ONC 2015 Edition certification testing will remain available. This test tool covers the §170.315(f)(2) Transmission to public health agencies – syndromic surveillance criterion with the named standard HL7 v2.5.1 PHIN Messaging Guide for Syndromic Surveillance: Emergency Department, Urgent Care, Inpatient and Ambulatory Care Settings, Release 2.0, April 21, 2015; and Erratum to the CDC PHIN 2.0 Implementation Guide, August 20, 2015.
