On what basis is one phone tagged as PH (Primary/Home) and the other as CP (Cell/Personal)?
Is this defined by a rule in NK5.3, or is it just an arbitrary choice in the test story?
For my own test stories, should I explicitly assign PH/CP, or does the tool decide automatically?
Best regards,
Shanmukh
Hi Shanmukh,
It is arbitrary in the sense that we picked one instance of NK1-5 to support PH and another to support CP. The test case is checking to see if your implementation can support both.
NK1-5 requires that the system be able to support the bound code set in general. So in real world messages any combination is valid. Note, if you were to make both CP in the test case, the tool would indicate an error for the one that should be PH (in the test case validation). However, if you validate using context-free, the message will pass. The test cases are designed to test system capabilities.
To further examine what the tool is looking for see the message content and the meaning of the test categories.
Regards,
Rob
