Join us Weds Apr 27 at Grappa's Cellar, basement of Jardine House, 1 Connaught Place, Central. Open to everyone so bring along your friends and family. No partner required, beginners welcome! Free Beginner lesson 8.30-9pm.

 

Sat Apr 30 the Saturday Night Jazz Orchestra plays at the Fringe Club, 2 Lower Albert Rd., Central. $125 (advance), $155 (on the day); includes one standard drink. Fringe Members free admission. 10.30pm til late.

 

This Sun May 1 at Blue Smoke BBQ, 3/F Grand Progress Building, Lan Kwai Fong, Central. From 8-8.45pm will be an all-level free class, then DJ'ed dancing until 11pm. Free entry, but for dinner and table reservations, call 2816 9018.

Next week, Wed May 4 social is cancelled and moved to Thur May 5, 8-11.15pm at Grappa's.

~CLASSES~

May classes are up! Register online for these classes at: http://www.hongkongswings.com/classes.html . Take 2 or more courses in the same session for $600 per course (save 12% on each course).

Basic 8-Count Lindy Hop B - Mon May 16 - June 13 (5 weeks) 8-9.30PM with Josh & Lillian
The "B" course has a Turns and Swingouts focus and we teach new material every time. No prior experience or partner required.  $680 full course (5 x 1.10hr classes)/ Drop in $200 (no drop ins from week 3 without instructors' permission). Full time students with ID: $380 full course.

 

Basic 8-Count Lindy Hop A - Tues May 17 - June 14 (5 weeks).  7-8.20PM with Sergey & Karen
The "A" course has a Charleston and Swingouts focus and we teach new material every time. No prior experience or partner required.  $680 full course (5 x 1.10hr classes)/ Drop in $200 (no drop ins from week 3 without instructors' permission). Full time students with ID: $380 full course.

 

Intermediate Lindy Hop & Charleston - Tues May 17 - June 14 (5 weeks).  8.30-9.30PM with Sergey & Karen
Continue your progression from the Basic 8-count Lindy Hop series.  You are social dancing weekly and are comfortable with mixing your 8-count patterns (eg. from our studio classes) with 6-count patterns (eg. from our free classes) and practicing these on the social floor. Now you are ready for more options and to improve your technique!  You can take this class as many times as you want as we always have fresh material and something to challenge everyone.  Required: Basic 8-count Lindy Hop A and B, or with instructors' permission. $680 full course (5 x 1hr classes)/ Drop in $120. Full time students with ID: $380 full course.
