Since China joined the WTO, the large number of companies have been facing
increasing competition from more open market. The studies from both local
region and foreign countries reveal one common view that China would further
open to foreign countries in the area of economic activities and would
gradually become a huge economic body. The keen competition would come in
place naturally.
Similar to individuals, company needs VALUE-ADDED improvement. Improvement
can either be external or internal. And more important is CONTROL and
MANAGE. Computer system is almost inevitable in the fast-pace commercial
environment. The studies reported that there is a good number of companies
having one or more of the obstacles described below :
1. Major operations / management functions remains manual
2. Don’t have knowledge in computerization / systemization
3. Low efficiency causes low productivity
4. Ineffective usage of computer system and it becomes burden
instead.
5. KNOW the presence of problem but cannot identify where the ROOT
is.
6. Can not solve the problem after working hard on it
