Call for Papers
We are seeking papers for the first Chinese Conference of Comparative Political Economy in Beijing on September 8-9, 2013. The conference will be co-convened by the School of Social Sciences of Tsinghua University and the School of Government of Peking University. It represents the first endeavor to bridge the burgeoning field of Comparative Political Economy in China with cutting edge work by international researchers.
We welcome individual paper submissions in all areas of CPE (such as state-business relations, capital-labor relations, bureaucracy and comparative policy research, varieties of capitalism, Chinese political economy in comparative perspective, political economy of development, comparative institutional analysis, and political economy of states, etc.). The deadline for submitting abstracts is June 15, 2013. Notification of acceptance will be given by June 22, 2013 at the latest. The final version of the paper is due on August 4, 2013. 比较政治经济学（comparative political economy）从比较的角度研究国家、社会和市场诸关系。其所研究的问题既是重要的学术问题，又是关系到国计民生的现实问题。为带动比较政治经济学在中国的发展，为国内学者创造与国外比较政治经济学家对话的平台，定于2013年9月8日至9日在北京召开第一届中国比较政治经济学年会。会议由清华大学社会科学院和北京大学政府管理学院共同主办。
现向您征集与比较政治经济学相关的英文论文，主题不限（可包括政商关系、劳资关系、官僚与比较政策研究、资本主义多样性、比较视角下的中国政治经济、比较制度研究、发展问题的政治经济分析以及国家的政治经济分析等）。英文摘要的截止日期为2013年6月15日。大会将于2013年6月22日前通知投稿者论文录取结果。最终英文论文的截止日期为2013年8月4日。需知更多信息，请联系tian...@pku.edu.cn。
