毕业季又到了,我们中的许多人即将离开学校,开启人生一段新的旅程。在此之际,HCSSA将在5月17日晚举办一年一度的毕业酒会,诚邀所有 在校 和 即将毕业 的同学参加。

我们同时邀请了 金融、制药 和 咨询业 的几位专业人士和大家分享职业发展的经验。非常欢迎 在校同学 参加我们的酒会,聆听各位嘉宾和即将毕业的同学的专业指导和建议!

Location: John Harvard's Brew House, Harvard Square

JAMES LIU
Branch Manager, Citibank Harvard Square

Haoyang “James” Liu is Branch Manager at Citibank Harvard Square. He started his career as Teller and Personal Banker at Citibank University of Chicago in 2004 after moving from Beijing to Chicago. He was relocated to Boston in 2006, and was one of the first bankers in Boston working to develop the consumer market for Citigroup in the area. Over the past six years, he was Personal Banker and Business Banker at Copley branch, then promoted to Branch Manager at Chinatown in July 2010. Throughout his career at Citibank, James has achieved top results, and was awarded the CitiStar Award in 2004 (Teller), CitiStar Award in 2007 (Personal Banker), and Citistar Award in 2008 (Business Banker). He has been very successful in developing relationships with global corporations and international student organizations and has taught banking seminars to international students at Northeastern University and graduate student groups in Cambridge and Boston. He lives in Cambridge with his wife Siân Liu, PhD and three children Isabella, Tristyn, and Lili.

W. CHRISTOPHER FANG, MD MBA
Worldwide Vice President, Medical Affairs
Johnson & Johnson, DePuy Synthes Spine & Trauma

Dr. Fang serves as the Worldwide Director of Clinical Research and Medical Affairs for Johnson & Johnson, DePuy Spine. He has been charged with establishing the global clinical organization, research process, and evidence strategy for the $1 Billion operating company. Dr. Fang is appointed to a variety of strategic assignments related to new product development, reimbursement, and business development. He serves as the Chair of the Clinical Research Committee responsible for selection and management of clinical programs. Dr. Fang held an MBA degree from Wharton School, UPenn, and an MD degree from Cornell University Weill Medical College. He has a MHS degree from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His career began at Novartis/Idenix Pharmaceuticals where he led two global registration trials for Hepatitis B. He was later appointed as Head of Cardiovascular Research and Medical Director at Mitsubishi Pharma Corporation before moving on to Medtronic Vascular. As the Director of Clinical Affairs and Head of Global Clinical Safety, he was responsible for coronary and peripheral device trials. Dr. Fang was awarded the prestigious Eisenhower Fellowships for 2011.

CHAOYI LI
Assistant Vice President, Quant Investment Research, Wellington Management

Chaoyi Li is currently an AVP in Quantitative Investment Group at Wellington Management, one of the world's largest investment management firm with over $700 billion asset under management. Quant Investment Group manages over $2 billion in equity assets across systematic long only and absolute return strategies. As a researcher in the team, Chaoyi develops new alpha signals and also assists with portfolio management activities. Prior to Wellington, Chaoyi worked in Goldman Sachs and Citigroup in New York. Chaoyi graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a MS in Information Systems, and a BS in Electronic Engineering/Minor in Economics from Tsinghua University.

TING REN
Consultant, Campbell Alliance

Ting Ren is currently a consultant in the Commerical practice at Campbell Alliance Group based at the Boston office. Prior to joining Campbell Alliance, she worked as an analyst at Back Bay Life Science Advisors, a boutique life science management consulting firm in Boston. She served clients with partnering/licensing strategies, new market entry assessment for emerging markets, new product launch strategies and management, and life cycle management for branded products. Ting received her Master’s degree in Neuroscience at Harvard University, and bachelor’s degree in biology at Beijing Normal University in China.
