Ruby on Rails community in Hong Kong?

I am thinking about moving to Hong Kong to take a NodeJS // mongoDB job. I'm also interested in teaching and connecting with other Ruby and/or JS developers. Is there a strong community of startup developers there? From what I could on the job boards, most of the development is PHP and jQuery.

Any other insights about relocating to the Hong Kong development community are much appreciated!

I personally think there are plenty, and depend on your lifestyle you could see if you want to get employed or take outsource jobs. Codeholics group and RoR is a good place for you to find people who need developers.

I agree with William and Pickachu, most startups will post on Codeaholics or RoRHK. Some people will post on JobsDB / CareerTimes but they tend to be larger corporations.

I've found the majority of code done in Hong Kong is java / .net but the scene is growing for Ruby, Python and others.
