Hi all,

This year's Chartis Cup between Saracens and BGC Asia Pacific Barbarians will take place at Hong Kong Stadium on Saturday 9th June.

The match allows you to see the reigning English Grand Champions take on a Who's Who of world rugby in the APBs team.  Confirmed names in the APBs side so far include New Zealand legend Mils Muliaina, Leicester giant Alesana Tuilagi and Fijian speedster Sireli Bobo.

Proceeds of match ticket sales will go to charity. This year, Chartis Insurance have selected the Royal Project office in Thailand, under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, to renovate schools hit by flooding last year, and help students from very poor families with the expense of attending classes.

Hong Kong Scottish will also directly benefit from selling tickets as the club will receive $100 from every adult ticket sold.  Please send around all friends and family and encourage them to buy tickets through Hong Kong Scottish.  This offer only lasts until tickets go on General Sale so please act quickly on this.

I have attached the booking form for you to fill out.  Please return to me by April 5th.

It promises to be a great day out for all the family and is a fraction of the price of the previous big matches in HK such as the Bledisloe Cup matches.  There will also be a Rugby Village in the IRC. This will be open throughout the day and, after the match, the party will spark up with all the players from both squads attending. The entry price is HK$100 and there is limited capacity, so it will be advisable to book earlier to avoid the disappointment of not being there.

Best Regards
Dave
