Yes we need to create a way and a sustained effort to support this
healthy counter culture, among the teachers and students, to give them
the encouragement that they need, but without politicizing.

I wonder if it is a good chance to collect some points to share with students for them to consider the pros and cons of giving consent to such scheme, or running some sessions for students.  I want to see students being more in the decision making, and not let their parents make the decision for them, for something like this.  This is their rights that are being decided on.
