hardware product looking for marketing / incubation

Hi friends,

We have developed a book scanner, would like to market it.  We're looking for either someone interested in marketing such a product, or an incubator, or a way to outsource the marketing and sales of such a gadget, perhaps starting in North American first.

Our product prototype is near completion, with accompanying software.  I have tested a very early version of it.

This is my side project and I don't have full time to attend to it.  My partner is a tech bookstore owner in Sum Shui Po.  He has 1-2 additional people for designing the hardware and for software development.

The scanner itself may be sold as a kit that is easy to construct.  The software may be opensource (in my personal opinion).  But we have not yet achieved consensus on a specific business strategy.
