There's a Startup Monday coming up. Hope to see you there!

Is it a side project or is it a startup?

When does a project cross the line to becoming a startup? When is a startup idea better pursued as a side project? I'll hold a discussion based on my experience being employee #1 and creative director at 3D Avatar School, and with bootstrapping and launching 88 Gong as a labor of love.

Jason Li is a designer and entrepreneur based in Hong Kong. When he’s not busy designing something new, he can be found working on one of his comics projects or in a corner with his nose buried in a book. He’s lived in the US, Canada, Spain and China, and isn’t quite sure where he wants to live anymore.

The meeting will be held at BootHK, 19/F, 231 Queen's Road East at 7:30pm, Monday September 10, 2012.
