Hey Denis from DimSumLabs here, was bored at work (work nights) and thought of a great way to collaborate different groups together -
by creating a Public Google Calendar!

[I've updated the calendar - so now if you go to this link]
https://sites.google.com/site/startupcalendarhongkong/

Now we can now track how many visitors via the google analytics API!

If you want to add an event here, feel free to PM your email and I'll add you as an editor~

I've been informed that startupcollege.hk has a calendar, but you have to send an email to the curator -
I trust that a representative of boothk can add an event nicely?

I hope to be able to implement a method to cross-post over several platforms later~
message me if you want to be added as an editor

Appreciate it.  Subscribed.  There needs to be a consolidated calendar of events for startups and my suspicion is that StartupHK is probably doing something like that already.

Nice. Another good cal I subscribe to is the SME Creativity Center http://www.smecc.hk/v2/calendar/

Josiah here, from HKCommons/SCC. StartupsHK indeed has a centralized calendar, it's an embedded version of the one centrally hosted on the SCC website - http://www.smecc.hk/v2/calendar/action:month/ . It's based on a wordpress plugin but easily interfaceable with Google Calendar.

There's a lot of general SME events on it too, not just techy startup events (and not all are in English), so your mileage may vary, but it's something we've been working together on. If your organization wants a login to post events (there's a brief review process before publication, just to make sure there's no spam or anything), drop me a line and we can set it up for you.

Fully agree on the sentiment that the startup community though is worth consolidating - there's quite a few spheres that everyone seems to be a part of, though not necessarily overlapping.

Cheers,

Josiah
