Web Application Developer

General Summary:

This role will assist in the development of Client facing user interfaces for a new modular web portal system being developed by Ideal systems.  The work will be on site in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong for 3-6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop user front end and administration pages for the portal.
• Develop dynamic page elements using Ajax, REST  and other dynamic web technologies
• Assist in backend design and database schema design

Requirements:

• Must be located in Hong Kong and able to work on site in Kowloon Bay.
• Highly skilled in client side GUI development using JavaScript, CSS and current HTML based technologies
• Experience with the Zend Application framework (vers 1.11) is a must as the portal is built with this technology.
• PHP OOP and Mysql development experience is a must.
• PERL experience would be an advantage
• Experience developing UTF-8 multi lingual web applications (English / Chinese)
• Linux experience an advantage
• Clean well commented code is a must.
• Proficient in English
