[HKTCL] : How to get into this bbs.

Hello,

Besides using "telnet playgro......." to login to this bbs. Anyone knows
the Tel No. of it ??

Yes, it's name is "TCLBBS" which is telnetable via Internet, it runs at
more than a hundred tasks during the same time with the BBS users, i.e.
more users can meet together than traditional BBS (simila to muti-line
BBS but running in an SPARC UNIX Box) via modem dial-in.

p.s. It is one of the non-profit making project sponsor by TCL Technology.

Can you give me the details procedure to login TCLBBS? What is
the host name (with domain name)? Who can join the TCLBBS?

Technically, normal BBS need a dedicate telephone line to dial-in the BBS
for access purpose - one line for one task (multi-line for running
multi-task); now, Internet BBS is running TCP/IP which can be accessable
via Internet, i.e. either Telnet or http even rlogin (already multi-task
like a multi-line BBS without any special hardware requirement, e.g. more
than a thousand users can be running inside a Internet BBS for the same
time), and it will be more easy to know some friends over there !

Hong Kong is lack of this kind of Internet BBS, "TCLBBS" is setup
since November'95 by TCL Technology Ltd for some "Project" purpose and
hope the others (commercialze Internet BBS) will come out soon.

As I know, not only BBS users enjoy about TCLBBS, other Internet users too.
