I find that my 20 old computers is good at everything on the market.

The newest 7 computers, all using OS Win7 64 bits. They are good at copy BD
and DVD and convert to other video format. Most newest BD movie such as 3D
BD can view in good quality using these 7 computers. Nvida say that 470 and
465 using cpu to decode 3D BD, but these 2 computers is quite good for
Resident Evil AfterLife 3D. The qualtiy is dfferent from Nvidia expect show
out. Most object is like real 3D quality object in this movie. Here is their
config.

4 of them using J&W 750A SLI, 3 of them using XFX 750a, AMD 945 x4 or 955
x4, 4G ram, 5 of them using 2x 260GTX, 1 using 465GTX x2, 1 using 470GTX x2.
I find that in most game, they are more difficult to play than WinXP,
perhaps due to Win7 large buffer and fast but long pipeline in gpu. all with
usb 3. card

One computers using Win7 64 bits, Magic Pro A2A extreme II, 2x 5770, 4G ram,
AMD 6000+, usb 3 card. Play bluray movie in good quality.

The rest computers all using WinXP or WinXP64 bits. I find that with 2G ram,
SLI or Crossfire is in great performance gain. With 3G ram, I do not enable
SLI or crossfire. Now it seems to me that most games WinXP may be better
than Win7. Very easy to hit the target. Bluray movie is also not bad at all
with WinXP for PowerDVD 10, Coral WinDVD and Total Theatre. It seems to me
that most software from Autodesk and Adobe, WinXP seems faster than Win7.
But in benchmark, Win7 with 260GTX or 465, it is a few times faster. Here
is their config

Magic Pro P6N SLI, Pentium D 2.8G, 2x 8800GS, 2G ram, usb 3 card
Magic Pro P6N SLI, Pentium D 3G, 2x 9600GSO, 2G ram, usb 3 card
Inno3D 680i, E4600, 2G ram, 2x 9600GSO, Asus U3S6, TV card
Inno3D 680i, 2G ram, E4600, 2x 9600GSO, Asus U3S6, TV card

These 4 computer with SLI

Magic Pro A2N5, 2x 9600GT, 3G ram, usb 3 card
Magic Pro A2N5, 2x 9600GT, 3G ram, usb3 card
Magic Pro A2N5 extreme II, 2x 9600GT, 3G ram, usb 3 card
Magic Pro A2N5 extreme II, 2x 9600GT, 3G ram, usb 3 card

These 4 computer do not enable SLI for most time

J&W P45 Ultra, Q6600, 2G ram, 3850 + 3870, usb 3 card. WinXP 64 bits,
crossfire on. Without crossfire, it is very slow on Crysis.

J&W P45 Ultra, Q6600, 2G ram, 5750, usb 3 card

J& W 790 GX, 5750, 4G ram, Asus U3S6.

Magic Pro A2A extreme II, 2x 3850, 3G ram, Asus U3S6, tv card. I do not
enable crossfire. Not slow on most old games.

It is to me, most new hardware using large buffer and long pipeline. They
are good at benchmark. But most software and games, WinXP seems more easy to
run. Video encode and decode, new hardware may be better. But those software
with a lot of function, WinXP seems get better.
