The Dragons committee has been debating how it should respond to action taking place globally to limit the spread of Covid-19.
The Hong Kong government has now ordered that anyone, regardless if they are a HK resident or not, arriving into Hong Kong from any overseas countries or territories must undergo compulsory quarantine for 14 days. This becomes effective from midnight tonight. (Full details available here:
https://www.coronavirus.gov.hk/eng/inbound-travel.html)
As much as we would love to see you, we would like to ask all Dragons and any non-members who ride, run or swim with us to observe these protocols.
Specifically, we ask that anyone who either have themselves, or who have a family member in their household returning to Hong Kong refrain from joining Dragons training or events for 14 days from their arrival.
If this applies to you, don't worry - you wont miss out! We’re not going anywhere and we’ll still be here in two weeks’ time. You can still engage in all the fun chat and banter in the Dragons Chat WhatsApp group and when you are back - you can tell us all about your wonderful exile!
Of course, if any Dragons do test positive we wish you a full and speedy recovery - and please let one of the committee members know! (Sheel, Boomer, Me or Gibbo)
Thanks all for your understanding - stay safe and stay well.
