Dear colleagues,

Could you please invite your students to submit an abstract by July 26 to our upcoming online Poster Conference (on gathertown, a very cute and fun online platform)? Please see all the details below.

The HKPS is generously providing prizes, and with judges and audience from all of the UGC-funded universities and professional psychologists from HKPS, it will a great opportunity to bring attention to students' work.

Because the last HKPS conference was held before 2019, we invite those who graduated in 2019 or later to present their previous student thesis work; for example, someone who graduated as an undergrad or PG in 2019 and did research as a student could sign up in that category.

Of course, I also hope that you could join as audience on August 20th. We'd love to have you there. It is actually really fun to "walk" around poster sessions on Gathertown, and we know that it's much more exciting to poster presenters to have plenty of visitors. If you're free, do please join us!!

You are cordially invited to join the "EdUHK x HKPS Psychology Research Poster Conference 2022," jointly organized by The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Hong Kong Psychology Society (HKPS) on Saturday, 20 August 2022, 09:30-13:00 via an online platform (Gathertown).

This Conference intends to provide an opportunity for psychology students (undergraduates / postgraduates) and professionals (scholars / practitioners) in Hong Kong to showcase their research works via poster presentations and come together for an exchange. We cordially invite psychology undergraduate/postgraduate students, scholars, and practitioners to present their research works to the community, and the general public to join us as audience to learn about the trends in the Psychology field.

Information About the Conference

·         Date: 20 August 2022

·         Time: 09:30-13:00 (HKT)

·         Theme: Contributions of Psychological Research and Practice to Societies (all fields of psychology are welcome)

·         Fee: Free of charge

·         Format: Online via Gathertown (https://www.gather.town/)

·         Conference Highlight: Posters exhibition and two keynote speeches.

·         Deadline to sign up as a presenter: submit an abstract (less than 500 words) by 26 July

·         Deadline to sign up as audience: 17 August

·         Prizes Categories: Undergraduates / Postgraduates / Professionals (Practitioners and Scholars).

·         Prizes (for each category): Winner: $1000 HKD, 1st Runner-up: $800 HKD, 2nd Runner-up: $500 HKD
