The American International Health Alliance (AIHA) is pleased to announce a request for proposals to support a new volunteer-based partnership to support an Infectious Diseases Post-Graduate Fellowship Program at the University of the West Indies, Jamaica.
Proposals are requested from academic institutions (resource partners) with expertise in supporting medical training for infectious diseases specialists, as well as institutional and administrative capacity in the areas of
the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS.
The successful applicant will have a successful Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program in place to effectively assist the University of the West Indies in establishing a similar program at the Mona Campus in Jamaica.
In addition, the successful applicant’s program will have both a strong teaching component and linkages to a hospital institution with demonstrated commitment to the overall goals of this partnership as detailed in the RFP.
