REST API enhancements

Hi folks,

I'd like to let you all know that Alex and I have enhanced Hiveminder's
REST API a bit.

You should now be able to log in through REST. That was admittedly a
pretty glaring omission.

When you create or update a record, the REST API redirects you. I've
fixed the bug where it forgot your desired output format.

Finally, we're now more likely to throw you a useful HTTP error response
instead of redirecting you to the login form.
