Heh, is that a dig on RPi, for just barely not fitting into an Altoids tin?

Possibly a dig, but not intentional -- I noticed that some of the first generation BBs were sold with an accompanying Altoid-ish box, so I tend to put mine in Altoids tins. Maybe the folks who started the BB-in-a-tin trend were making a point, and I inadvertently made one by copying them.

For what it's worth, I carry all of my MCUs in altoid tins (MSP4302, Stellaris boards, BBs).  That way, I can toss them in my PC case and carry them around w/o fear of damaging them.

I even take them on business trips, in case I get bored.  Surprisingly, I have taken my little menagerie of MCUs on many an airplane, and have not had any trouble (yet).
