MR3 2.2 has been released. A major change in MR3 2.2 is a new implementation of MR3-UI. Please see the release notes:

We now support all the following combinations using the same scripts (https://github.com/mr3project/mr3):

Hive 4.0.0 using Java 8/17

Hive 3.1.3 using Java 8/17
