In preparation for the release of MR3 2.0, we have created a new website for MR3 documentation which reflects all the changes made to MR3. Please see:

Now, MR3 is released through the git repository:

https://github.com/mr3project/mr3

To try Hive on MR3, you can just clone this repository which contains all the scripts and configurations for running Hive on MR3 on Hadoop, on Kubernetes, and in standalone mode. Then you can download binary files with the script install.sh in it. Currently you can try a preview version of Hive on MR3 2.0.

Cloning this repository makes it easy for you to maintain your own configurations for running Hive on MR3.

We will officially release MR3 2.0 sometime soon.
