MR3 1.3 will be released soon, and for those who want to try Hive 3 on MR3 1.3 on Kubernetes, we have updated the Docker image, the scripts, and the documentation.
Hive 3 on MR3 backports over 300 patches to Hive 3.1.2. You can check out the source code from the github repository.
MR3 1.3 will be released when Spark on MR3 is ready.
