I am a 56 Year old woman that has been infected with the HIV since 1979. I
think there should be more access in these newsgroups for women that are
infected with HIV/AIDS. HIV is not just a Gay Mans disease. I am living proof

Hi to EMitc!! My name is Mary Ann and I would love to get a women's group going,
but nobody is going to do it for us, except "us girls". I have had HIV for 13
years this summer, and so far so good. I don't think I've met anyone who's had the
virus as far back as 1979. How did you first find out? How is your health now?
You know between you and I we have 33 years of experience in dealing with this
disease.......let's share some of it on-line and see if we can get some other women
involved. How about it? I hope I hear from you soon. Take Care, Mary Ann
