Dear Researcher,
The GSA (Gerontological Society of America) 2014 Annual Scientific Meeting will be held November 5-9th in Washington DC.
I am putting together a SYMPOSIUM PROPOSAL on Aging with HIV/AIDS: the MIND-BODY Connection If you have research on this topic, please consider submitting an abstract—or pass this along to your colleagues.
The GSA theme is "Making Connections: From Cells to Society.” To be considered for inclusion in the HIV/AIDS: Mind-Body Aging Symposium, all abstracts must be submitted directly to Kristen Porter (Kristen....@hotmail.com) by Monday February 24, 2014. (Do not submit an abstract unless you are sure to be attending- GSA does not look kindly upon accepted abstract presenters who do not register for the conference.)
Abstracts will be reviewed and chosen based upon a clearly demonstrated fit with “Mind/Body” topic and how well it follows the guidelines put forth by GSA for individual papers within a symposium (see attachment to this email). We can have 2 to 5 papers presented in a symposium. Authors will be notified by March 3, 2014 to allow time for those not accepted to submit to the general GSA call due date of March 5th.
