It would be interesting to know what percentage of men get to see women from that point of view. The only film that comes to mind with a small insight into this is The Big Lebowski.
![]() It would be difficult to analyse all the images that the media provides of women, but I guess that a good proportion are neutral, a good proportion are 'Come Hither' and much fewer which are 'Keep Your Distance'.
It's difficult when an enthusiasm doesn't have a neat word or phrase to sum it up. I know there are many fans of the so-called victory pose. I have a seen a few of them. They don't seem very threatening or harmful to me, but groups that are devoted to such images don't have an easy life on-line.
Some poses do have useful names. There's arms akimbo which I see as a strong or self-possessed pose. From that I've thought of the half kimbo.
From heraldry we might borrow poses such as rampant, couchant, passant, sejant, salient, courant and statant.
There's one used for birds which could be useful to develop a vocabulary of poses for strong women. Vigilant, which means with one leg raised.

Recently Toe Tag's images and text have prompted me to write some short passages which are supposed to prompt discussion and then sending them on to various groups with a few hundred members each. Apart from some re-posts from Toe Tag himself, the sum total of response is zero.
I do not blame people for not taking part. People are busy and free to do what they wish. But a lot of the members of these groups have characterised themselves as submissives. Some even say they are slaves. Well, they all have to say something about supporting women to get into the groups in the first place.
I do smile at the fecklessness of so-called subs and slaves who do not engage with the Kalienne movement.
Most of my posts go to Yahoo groups that I moderate. The messages are intended to be stimulating. If you think the messages are inappropriate or irrelevant, feel free to argue your case.
I'd like to run a complex role-playing game across all the Skeleton Girls groups. I'm asking members to assume an alter ego of the comic book type. Most people are quite normal and can choose what sobriquets they like. However if you believe you are submissive, give yourself a name like Ariel or Sylph, something airy or spiritual. I'm asking each member to choose a female celebrity or icon. This person is to be defended to the hilt at every opportunity. But then in the spirit of the Devil's Advocate I'm asking each member to choose a female celebrity or icon to criticise where an opportunity presents itself. We're always hoping people will post poems, stories, photos and artwork to our various groups, more than ten thousand on different service providers. We're also looking for people to upload images to our sparser groups. We're looking for people who can record the birthdays of females in the group calendars. We're looking for reviews of anything creative featuring a female. We're looking for reports of any daily contact with a female such as an interaction with a shop assistant.
