WHOA. Didn't catch that. My bad. Removed! Definitely not an open bar.
Hopefully something better than a no-host bar.
Good segue to determine how we're handling drinks, actually. I'd like
to give everyone one or two drink tickets, depending on the bar price
and the drink prices. Basically we'd "buy" an amount out of our $500
commitment upfront to translate to tickets redeemable for up to ${x}.
For example, $400 for 100 $2 tickets? Do you know how to set this up,
Kelly?
Thanks,
Ryan

Before we give out 100 tickets. Drinks will average about $5.00. One ticket will buy beer, wine, call drinks and soda... (Using KISS method)
If we give out 100 tickets, we will be at $500 and we still have to pay the technician $15/hr for sound lights whatever... so will need some juice to pay for that. DIdn't we opt to have someone checking ID's too? That's another $15/hr... so close to $100 if we don't go over time wise... Just want to keep that in mind.
Thanks a bunch!
Invoice wise. I don't really do invoices. But can probably rustle something up. Check s/b made to Kelly Mitchell, dba Kelly Mitchell Group... Invoice to follow...

Wow. $5 a drink! I guess it's obvious I don't drink!
In any case, 100 tickets at $5 isn't a dealbreaker to me if we get 100
people and give them each 1 ticket. For the overage you mention, we
have either Lika's $200 and Vernon's $200 available (though we were
hoping for a little something for our entertainers as well). I think
we can be comfortable on the drink side but then we're looking tight
on the FOOD side. Balancing this stuff is not easy!
One more $500 sponsor would set us up good. Anyone got any generous friends?
Thanks for coming up with an invoice, though I can make a really bad
one in Microsoft Word for you if I have to. John Tapper says that it
may take some time to cut the check, but I hope that won't be a
dealbreaker. (Let me know if so, I can front instead.)
Mahalo!
