Thanks Ryan,

I started dialogue with Diamond Head Caterers as Bruce had initially recommended, but haven't gotten far (my fault not theirs).  With the current ticket sales looks like a good idea we haven't further extended ourselves as they are not the cheapest game in town, but rather high quality for a good price.

Couple of thoughts... With the proximity of our friends in Japan and the bullet dodged by Hawaii, and the outpouring of need and grief from the areas of devastation, most eyes and hearts are on Japan.

Would it make sense at this late date to support our friends there?  Everything else is currently overshadowed by what has happened there and it could  very well be the cause for lack of interest in our event (just thinking out loud).  I know Twestival is pretty hardnosed about how to donate, but may make an acception at this late date for such an unusual situation....

At any rate, I will phone JJ Dolan's (awesome pizza ) and see what they can put together.  Let me know if we decide to move forward with Wedge Lee and maybe the feed numbers should be closer to 50 at this point.

I've asked Wedge Lee what kind of a spread he could put out for $500
as a starting point, and that way one of our $500 sponsors can pay
direct. At this point we've sold maybe six tickets so I don't think
we're going to be trying to feed 100 people (and we might have to be
prepared to pay The Venue much of the bar balance they were
expecting).

Who are you working through? Jason Tom, our entertainment manager,
suggested J.J. Dolan's, across the street, and very popular with the
Chinatown crowd.
