Twestival 2011 Logo

Hey everyone!

First of all, thanks again to Ryan for giving me the opportunity again to design the Twestival logo. This year, Twestival had a more specific style guide. Here is the official Twestival logo:
They suggested focusing on blue and incorporating the tree (as well as adding “local” to the event). Here’s what I came up with:


I decided to stick with the “bird mosaic” look from last year and have a little more fun with it. I pieced together the birds, this time, to form a palm tree against a blue sky; a familiar symbol of Hawaii.

Sounds like the logo is a winner right out of the gate! Thanks so much, Valentino! Could you make various versions for the Honolulu Twestival blog, the main Twestival site (I think they had some kind of gallery and submission guide?), Facebook and Twitter square avatars, and... T-shirts? Who wants T-shirts? :)
