FYI… all San Juan County parks are now closed for the remainder of 2020 to camping. Note that this has been financially “devastating” to them. If you can donate something, it would help. See link below.

Cheers,
Mac

Good Afternoon,

Closely monitoring the Covid-19 situation in the San Juan Islands has been a high priority for our San Juan County Council.  On the afternoon of Tuesday, May 5th, the Council took action to eliminate group camping in all San Juan County Parks for the remaining months of 2020 for protection of staff, visitors, and our communities. Presently, all individual camping is cancelled through June 30.  We hope to offer camping this summer for individuals and small families, if and when our campgrounds are designated to reopen.  For July and beyond, we hope to have a decision within the next month. We trust that you understand the necessity of these changes for the good of all.

A 100% refund will be processed for your group camping reservation.  Currently, all June group camping reservation refunds have been completed and, once additional funding is available, we will act to complete group camping refunds month by month.

These mass cancellations have devastated us, financially. If you are inclined to offer support to the San Juan County Parks during this challenging economic period, donations can be made on-line.  You can choose from a drop down menu at: https://secure.itinio.com/sanjuan/donation

Thank you for your understanding and support during this unique time.
