Fall Classes from the CBC Build knowledge and skills to keep your boating brain fresh!
Intro to Tides and Currents Wednesday & Thursday, October 3rd & 4th | 5:30pm - 7:50pm Wednesday & Thursday, November 14th & 15th | 5:30pm - 7:50pm REI Store 400 36th St. Bellingham, WA $55 | To register call 360-714-8891 or email prog...@boatingcenter.org   This course guides participants through the concepts behind tidal exchanges and currents, including how to integrate tide and current predictions into small boat trip planning. Learn how to utilize available resources to predict tides and currents within the Salish Sea.  Introduction to Tides & Currents is a two-part class allowing time to digest what you have learned and come back to class with questions. In this two-part class you will learn how to read charts, use a compass, deduced (ded) reckoning, as well as learn many other useful tips when navigating. This two-hour seminar will give you an overview of how to read weather forecasts and plan for your adventures on the water.
