Does anyone recall from prior years if we are required to get a "Makah Tribe Recreational use permit - $10.00 per vehicle" when we camp at Hobuck? Is this a permit for each person or each car? Do we get it at the Hobuck campground? Is it part of our fee there?

I've sent an email about this to the Hobuck campground and, hopefully, will get a response today. When I do, I'll pass it along to the group going to Hobuck this weekend...............

Cheers,
Mac

Glad Bob mentioned the permit. I just spoke to Steve at the Hobuck Resort and the permit can be purchased there. Also Camping and permits can be paid for by check, cash, visa/discover credit cards..

"There is no admission cost to hike the trail, but you do need to purchase a Recreation Permit upon entering the reservation. These can be purchased at the Makah Marina, Washburn's General Store, Makah Tribal Center, Makah Mini Mart and the Makah Museum, . They cost $10 per car and are valid for the calendar year in which they are purchased".
