Without seeing the actual files, I can only speculate based on your descriptions. Inventor sheet metal parts in general are driven by Sheet Metal Rules. If you want to drive the thickness, you will need to use Sheet Metal Default (but I personally do not like the approach).
Yeah i figured with plasma you may want to do some trial cut to get the kerf right before cutting alot.Im going to have to try to use this soon and figure it all out.Where I work people are always wanting small locker type boxes to lock up things so they dont have to pack it home.Ill usually make a frame from angle iron or tube then skin that with sheet metal. After getting my crossfire I thought I could just use this method to eliminate the frame and just use sheet metal and a few hindges.
makeitmetal.net is a deep learning powered metal band name generator, a hobby project I've worked on on and off for the last few months. I've seen other metal band name generators around but as a metal fan, the different strains of names you see in different genres are such a key part of metal band names, like the 100 different stoner doom bands named Bonglord, Bongzilla, Dopelord etc. So I tried to use genre information when training the model to get more genre-accurate names, and allow you to try out different combinations of genres.
Gallium-based liquid metal nonspherical droplets (plugs) have seen increasing demand recently mainly because their high aspect ratios make them beneficial for a wide range of applications, including microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), microfluidics, sensor technology, radio-frequency devices, actuators, and switches. However, reproducibility of the generation of such plugs, as well as precise control over their size, is yet challenging. In this work, a simple on-chip liquid metal plug generator using a commercially available 3D microprinter is presented and the plug generator in poly(dimethylsiloxane) is replicated via soft lithography. Liquid metal plugs are generated via a combination of electrochemical oxidation, design of well-defined constrictions based on Laplace pressure, and the application of modulated voltage control signals. It is shown that plugs of various aspect ratios can be generated reproducibly for channel widths of 0.5, 0.8, and 1.5 mm with constriction widths of 0.1 mm at 6 V. Laplace-pressure-controlled plugs in constricted channels are compared to modulated-voltage-generated plugs in straight channels showing that this technique provides significantly enhanced reproducibility and control over the size and spacing between the plugs. This work paves the way to sub-millimeter liquid metal plugs generated directly on-chip for on-demand MEMS and microfluidic applications.
Perhance is a platform that allows you to create your own custom random generators. You could use it to create your own random text generator for a tabletop RPG, or to make your own random name generator, or to simply create a generator which selects a random item from your list with different weights. You can also save your generator so it has a permalink that you can share with your friends.
Perchance is based around creating lists which reference other lists. You can adjust the odds of items in each list so that when you randomly select an item from that list, they all have the likelihoods that you've specified. If you'd like to learn how to make a random text generator with Perchance, you should check out the tutorial. It explains all the basic features of the Perchance engine and should get you up and running in only 10 or 20 minutes. Perchance has many powerful features that you don't need to learn from the start, but can learn later if you want to create particularly complex generators.
I created Perchance because most people are still creating random generators in excel. Those work all right, but excel and other spreadsheets aren't really made for that purpose, so there's a lot to be desired in terms of functionality and ease of use. Whatever you're using it for, I hope you find Perchance useful! You might like to check out our community forum where you can ask questions and share your random generator creations.
Relative to silicones, our knowledge on biocompatibility of EGaIn is limited. Kim et al. studied cytotoxicity of EGaIn in an aqueous environment55. The study concluded that EGaIn was stable and reasonably safe without mechanical agitation. It was shown that cytotoxicity increased with sonication, which increased the In ion concentration. In another study, Lu et al. studied the in vivo toxicity of EGaIn nanoparticles. Important liver and kidney functions and blood indexes in mice were monitored over three months and no signs of toxicity were detected56. In a review article, Yan et al. reviewed applications of liquid metals in different biomedical applications including carriers for drug delivery, molecular imaging, enhanced cancer therapy, and medical devices including implantables57. In two recent studies, EGaIn was used to produce stretchable e-skin58 and electronic tattoo59.
Commercial modules that employ thermoelectric materials such as bismuth chalcogenides and contact metals such as Ni and Sn are expected to be RoHS/REACH compliant, which implies that any material with documented evidence of health risk (e.g., Pb) is avoided. Thermoelectric modules built using these materials have been used on the body in numerous studies focusing on different aspects of module design. Finally, one of the strengths of the proposed approach is that it is not limited to a specific thermoelectric material. Therefore, the thermoelectric material employed in these flexible modules may be chosen considering both performance and biosafety. This includes new exploratory organic materials, which may eventually rival the performance of their inorganic counterparts after years of research and development.
We had our new generator shipped in the mounting rack. Because of our application, we flipped the rack and turned it over for mounting on the floor rather than hanging from the upper supports. The process was easy. I suggest you consider placing holes in the completed rack so those who need to invert it could do so without drilling new holes.
To use these types of filters/generators, you indeed need to have your mesh maps baked. The Curvature can be baked from the Mesh or from the Normal map baked earlier. Those are two different techniques (from Mesh is more recent), but both should work as expected.
Some materials and/or activities may be exempt or excluded from the hazardous waste regulations, if specific conditions are met. When a generator (i.e., any business that generates hazardous waste) wishes to claim that certain materials are not a solid or hazardous waste under the 6 NYCRR 370 regulations (link leaves DEC website), or are exempt or conditionally exempt from regulation, because of their intent to reclaim, recycle or reuse the material, they must notify DEC Central Office in writing by mail, fax or email before using that exemption or exclusion. This notification, known as a "C7 Notification," must include: the names and physical addresses of the generator and receiving facility or facilities; the exemptions and exclusions that the generator is claiming and the corresponding regulatory citation; and the activities and materials that the generator believes are exempt or excluded. Materials that are exempt or excluded from the hazardous waste regulations may still be regulated as solid waste under the 6 NYCRR 360 regulations, even if a material is deemed to not be a "solid waste" in the 6 NYCRR 370 regulations (links leave DEC website).
The notification must be submitted when the generator is first claiming each exemption as well as any time a field on their form changes (e.g., the composition of the material or waste types being sent to a recycler changes, the material will be sent to a different recycler, a company who has already notified wants to claim the same exemption for additional facilities that were not on the original notification, the point of contact for the facility changes, etc.).* A separate form must be submitted for each unique exemption being claimed by a generator and each unique waste type being managed under the exemption. For example, a generator sending lead bricks for scrap metal recycling and waste unused solvents being sent for solvent reclamation would submit two notifications, one for the lead bricks and one for the solvents. In some cases, similar wastes being sent to the same place for the same type of recycling can be combined on the same notification. For example, lead bricks and lead shielding being sent for scrap metal recycling could be listed on the same form.
Note: Generators still need to keep the information required in these notifications in their records on-site, keep them up-to-date and provide them to DEC inspectors upon request, even if the generator is not required to submit a C7 notification to DEC before they begin using one of these exemptions or exclusions. Generators can use the generic C7 notification form on this page to meet this requirement.
In certain situations, DEC may grant an extension of up to 30 days to a hazardous waste generator who cannot meet their hazardous waste accumulation time limit requirements (90 days for large quantity generators or 180 days for small quantity generators). Pursuant to 6 NYCRR 372.2(a)(8)(v) and (viii), and 373-1.1(d)(1)(iii)(e) and (iv)(e), DEC may grant an extension of up to 30 days, on a case-by case basis, for hazardous wastes that must remain at a generator's site for longer than the generator's allowed accumulation time limit due to unforeseeable, temporary, and uncontrollable circumstances.
