Interra Systems is going to recruit quite a good number of B. Tech or M. Tech engineers having degree in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE) or VLSI or Electrical Sciences. While those obtained degree in 2014 are preferred, we are open to look at good quality 2013 or even 2012 graduates with some amount of aligned industry exposure (was trainee or intern for less than 1 yr.). THOSE GRADUITING IN 2015 ARE NOT ELIGIBILE. The recruitment process will be conducted in Bangalore only. Outstation candidates can certainly apply, but they need to participate in the recruitment process at their own expenses. Interra will NOT reimburse any fare or provide any accommodation support to any candidate.

The recruits of under the LC-9 program will undergo 6-month long rigorous class room, laboratory and in-project training. An outline of the program, which in our parlance is known as LC-9, is given in the enclosed attachment. On successful completion the training they will be placed in state-of-the-art Memory Design/Characterization and Memory Layout projects. They will be based in our Bangalore office.

The selection will be based on CV screening, written test, technical interview and HR/Final interview. The criteria for applying are:

1. B. Tech or M. Tech in Electronics & Communication (ECE) or Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE) or VLSI (graduated in 2014; those graduated in 2012or 2013 may apply if they have some amount of aligned industry exposure, such as worked for less than 1 yr. as trainee or intern. THOSE GRADUITING IN 2015 ARE NOT ELIGIBILE)

2. Academics
    - 10^th  or equivalent – Minimum 70% or equivalent

- 12^th  or equivalent – Minimum 65% or equivalent

- B. Tech/ M. Tech CGPA – Minimum 7.5 CGPA or equivalent

3. Career Interest: Those who want to build their career in VLSI Design/Memory related industry. Those interested in Software or IT-type of work/career need not apply.

Note: Since we are going to invest heavily to train them in leading technologies, methodologies and tools for 6 months, we need to ensure that they serve us for at least 2-1/2 years after completion of the 6-month training.  So the selected candidates have to give a Bank Guarantee for 3 years in favor of Interra Systems India Pvt. Ltd prior to joining the training. The amount of Bank Guarantee will be Rs. 4.00 lakh. PLEASE DO NOT CONSIDER ANY APPLICANT IF (S)HE IS NOT IN A POSITION TO GIVE THIS BANK GUARANTEE.

Our recruitment period for LC-9 is mid-October to mid-November, 2014. The tentative joining and training start date is 15^th December 2014.

We shall follow the following process for the recruitment:

1. You may inform the intending candidates about our recruitment program, eligibility criteria and the selection process (you may just forward the attachment sent herewith) and ask them to send their CVs directly to na...@interrasystems.com . The cut-off date for receipt of the CVs is 31^st October 2014.
2. The recruitment process will be conducted in Bangalore only. So outstation candidates need to participate in the recruitment process at their own expenses. Interra will NOT reimburse any fare or provide any accommodation support to any candidate.
3. Interra will do a short listing of the candidates (upon reviewing their CV) and invite the candidates directly to attend our Pre Placement Talk (PPT) and Written Test.
4. Interra will evaluate their Written Test Papers and do another short listing. These short listed candidates will be called directly for Technical & HR Interviews.  
5. The candidates finally selected after the Technical & HR interviews will be issued Interra offer letter (expected by 3^rd week of November, 2014)
6. Those who are issued Interra offer letter will need to furnish the Bank Guarantee by 10^th December, 2014  
7. Expected Joining/Training Start date: 15^th December, 2014
