Job Title:  Mobile UX Designer          
Duration:  6+ Months Contract Assignment
Location:  San Jose, CA
 
The Mobile Interaction (UX) Designer will be fully engaged in mobile software development for the consumer-facing business at the client company. This resource will conceptualize, design and develop mobile applications from scratch, leveraging lean development principles in an agile environment.
 
Requirements:

• Well versed with leveraging user-centered design (UCD) process methods for mobile applications from concept to launch.
• Strong interaction design and usability skills
• In-depth knowledge in iOS mobile and tablet platforms
• Experience creating highly-detailed annotated wireframes, user flows, and process flows within complex mobile applications
• The ability to sketch and generate big-picture ideas for early-stage UX work
• Experience developing rapid prototypes
• Familiarity with user interface patterns for mobile and web
• Familiarity with developer/engineer tools and SDKs
• Experience planning and facilitating user research and usability tests
• Understanding of platform specific nomenclature (such as segmented controller, picker, table view)
• Knowledge of the Scrum development process
• Skilled at working with designers and engineers alike
• 5+ years UI / UX / Visual design experience across web site & mobile applications
